ABOUT OUR WORK TABLES

Work tables have been fashioned for all those cutting, mixing and sorting jobs that are better performed standing up or seated on a high stool. With a surface up to 36" high, sometimes clad in zinc, and often with a potboard shelf beneath or with drawers in the apron, these pieces bear all the dings and scratches of decades of useful wear and tear. Their sturdy construction and extra height make work tables good candidates for conversion into kitchen islands, perhaps with an overhanging marble or granite top.
