ABOUT OUR BENCHES
We have a good source for antique benches from central Europe, often quite decorative pieces with scalloped backs and scrolled arms and usually 6' or more in length. Shorter ones are harder to find.
We also like "forms", benches without backs and usually one board wide, often with shapely trestle-style legs and always well constructed. When you use a form you can always make room for another couple of kids at the table. All these are available in wax or old paint. Custom forms can be made from reclaimed pine.
