PRODUCT INFORMATION

This is a vintage decorative ironstone wall plate by the Granit pottery in Hungary.  Granit plates are known for the vibrant colours of their traditional hand-painted floral designs.  The plate was made as a wall decoration or souvenir (Emlek means souvenir) between about 1950, shortly after the factory was nationalized by the Hungarian government and the mark was changed, and about 1965.
