What a good-looking Chest of Drawers! Three tiers of moldings make up the bold crown of this handsome chest. The top was once hinged, creating a shallow well with a floor, as a catch-all. At some point it was permanently fixed down leaving a void above the top drawer. The three hand-cut dovetailed drawers are trimmed with an ogee molding to suggest a paneled drawer front with original zinc bail pulls and escutcheons. The front corners have fluted molding and hardwood acorn corbels. Hand-polished to a rich golden color.
