Long Pine Chest of Three Drawers

At almost five feet long this magnificent piece is unusually large for a single row chest of drawers.  A bold ogee molding to the front and sides of the top creates a step-down edge.  The three drawers are more or less equal in depth with the top drawer standing a little proud of the others with pyramid appliqués at each side.  The lower drawers are flanked by fluted molding capped by hand-carved hardwood acanthus leaf corbels.  The chest stands on nicely-formed bracket feet.
