Pine Chest of Four Drawers

This splendid four drawer chest has a slightly breakfront case, the deep top drawer with oval panels protruding a little above the other three drawers, which are of equal depth.  The top edge is chamfered instead of the more common step-down edge. The front corners have applied fluted molding beneath carved acorn corbels and an elongated pyramid appliqué.  This piece has a great honey color.
